Commissions.
Q. Do you use AI in your artworks?
No, though I have accidentally/unknowingly used AI reference images for portions of artworks before, eg background elements. I’m a real artist creating real art, but I also have no time for cancel culture and bullying so if I’ve accidentally referenced something, please be kind.
Q. Do you ever trace reference images?
If it’s a stock image or personal photo, then to speed things up yes. If you follow my socials you’ll see from my traditional art that I’m confident in my freehand sketching skills, but to ensure a reasonable price for clients I try to find ways to speed things up without compromising quality.
Q. Do you take personal/commercial commissioned artworks?
At the moment I’m only taking on commercial projects due to a reduced workload while I navigate motherhood.
Q. What is your pricing?
I quote every project individually based on the brief and end use/licensing, if you get in touch with your ideas I’ll be happy to send through a commitment-free quote.
Q. Do you take ANY kind of art project?
I only take on commissioned projects that sit within my artistic style - I’ll try my best to help you out but if it’s too different to what I feel comfortable creating I may have to help direct you to another more suitable artist.
I have stopped taking on book-box dust -jacket covers.
Shipping.
Q. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, the prints are drop-shipped from the USA with worldwide shipping, and Tarot/Oracle decks shipped from Australia also with worldwide shipping.
Q. How long does Domestic (Australia) shipping take?
The tarot/oracle decks should take around 2-5 days, the prints from USA 6-10 business days.
Q. How long does International shipping take?
Tarot/Oracle decks will take around 2 weeks, prints will be 4-10 business days.
Q. What does drop-shipping mean?
I found shipping prints from Australia internationally (where majority of orders come from) had astronomical postage costs, so I go through a third party (Printful) who prints the artworks on demand, packages them and posts them direct from the USA. It also gives me more time to draw new artworks as shipping previously took up a huge chunk of my day.
Q. How much is shipping?
This is calculated at checkout - please put in your country to check rates as the default initial shipping rate that comes up in your checkout is to the USA.
Q. Do you take returns?
If you are unsatisfied or there is an issue with your order, please email hello@helenaillustrated.com, and I will try my best to work out a solution. All shipping charges are nonrefundable, and unable to refund for change of mind post-purchase.
Q. Do you cover taxes/import duty?
There may be additional import duty/taxes on your order depending on country, which won’t be covered in your order. Please check with your country’s policies on imported goods.

Q. Do you wholesale internationally?
We sure do! Wholesale enquiries go through Rockpool Publishing at sales@rockpoolpublishing.com.au and they’ll be able to connect you up with the right contact to purchase your wholesale decks.
Q. Can I buy the decks from a different online or local store?
All three decks are stocked in many stores in different countries, it’s worth having a quick look in your search engine to see if there’s a store local to you. An easy international online shop that stocks it is Amazon, where you can buy them here.
Q. Will you be doing any more similar decks?
I’ve got things in the works! I’ve been a bit flat out with other artworks and projects so it might be a while.
Q. Are these decks good for beginners?
The decks are good for all levels, however it’s good to note that Mythos Tarot is a themed take on tarot, rather than a very traditional tarot deck. The guidebooks are essential to read while pulling the cards due to the very specific nature of the cards.

Q. Are you open to Partnerships/Collaborations?
Absolutely! I try to work with brands that I support and love, trying to remain authentic and true to my values. Because of this, I take any collaborations I take on very seriously and will work hard to ensure results that we’re all happy with.

I’m happy to create content that connects to both your own audience and my own, creating bespoke and creative videos, artworks and documentation that shows off how excellent you are.
